Where they started

Muslim Aid USA’s donor, fundraising, financial and program operations depended on multiple disconnected systems and substantial manual work. Discovery identified 39 technical and process issues: donor information fragmented across Salesforce, backend systems, QuickBooks and payment platforms, heavily manual program processes, and reporting stitched together from multiple systems.

What we built

  • Salesforce rebuilt from the ground up around the organization’s actual operational requirements
  • Donor management, donation tracking and fundraising in one environment
  • Program, project and fund management with workflow automation
  • Reporting, dashboards, user roles and permissions
  • Data migration, receipt management, and QuickBooks, payment and fundraising platform integrations

What happened

An approximately $500,000 technology transformation, completed in roughly eight months at about half the cost of the alternative approach being considered: one centralized operating environment instead of patched, disconnected processes.
